Been something on my mind to use Recaro car seats as office chairs. After all, Recaro themselves do produce such chairs.

I've been longing for an Recaro Ergomed for quite a while, it being a favorite for its look and supposed comfort, as told by both fans and folks online. Additionally, they're the same seats that were factory fit on the fabeled Proton Satria GTi.
So now I'm doing my digging again, and yeah, there are conversion kits available for you to turn your car seat into an office chair.

So now I'm plenty interested, so far, I've found three seats that have pipqued my interest:

Considering this because its an Integra Type R seat, although not the more popular and undoubtedly famous red variant. I like the DC and DB series of Integra, plus the proximity is the best of all else that I've seen. However, the price is definitely on the higher end for used Recaro's; its a genuine SR3 after all. However, I'm thinking that instead of these, could I get something else cheaper in the meantime, and if I ever get my hands on a Honda, maybe a EF or DB, then I may start looking for one of these.

Ah, well, this for one is a rare seat. The pioneer for the SR series, and definitely a more classic design. As you can see, the side bolster is super worn and would likely need to be reupholstered. I'm keen on this for the low cost of entry, look and overall rarity, for I've not seen another SR1. The location, however, compared to the SR3's, is farther away, and that does turn me off slightly. These I think would be quite nice regardless.

Now for the actual seats I've been meaning to get. Its either these or the Satria GTi seats. These do not look as worn as another seat that I've seen for the same price range sometime back, so this may be a strong contender. It is a long way from where I am so that is something that'll hampen the idea, but I will see.
That's it then. Maybe soon I will complete this idea.
