Hello!

This blog is dedicated to our sharings about general car enthusiast life in Singapore and others, a bit of a personal memorial of our youth and what we've done, seen, experienced, enjoyed. Sadly due to how things are run here, not all cars can live a full life as they would be intended. As such, we will try to document whatever we can and archive photos of what will one day become forgottens of the past. Life is a finite experience.

Elan M100 shopping list

Adding to the list of parts requiring replacement:

Spoke with an ex-owner and he had s similar issue, and he had his tie rods replaced.

Listed on PnmParts is 18 pounds, will be added with other parts that mostly include suspension.

Actually, I think I'll touch on that.
The current suspension from what I can tell is the original set, and do not tolerate bumps well. Also, on neighbourhood roads that use those brick roads or similar (any road that is not smooth), there is alot of squeaks. Those need replacing, luckily PNM sells an aftermarket GAZ set which according to them, is a direct replacement.

GAZ I think is well-known in the UK, doing brands such as Ferrari, so I think they have some rep in them, nor is there other options that are easy to come by.

All in all excluding front springs which are currently out of stock and bushings, trying to fix three things in one purchase (Steering, Suspension, Headlight). Its all in pounds too.
